Jax spent 1/4 of his money on 5 candy bars. If each candy bar cost the same amount what fraction of his money did he spend on each candy bar

Answer:

1/20 of his money or 0.05 of his money on each candy bar.

Explanation:

You can start by dividing 1 divided by 4 or (1/4 ) which is 0.25, which is the money he spent on candy bars. Next you take that number and divide it by 5 which is the number of candy bars. So 0.25 divided by 5 or (0.25/5) and you get 0.05 and if you turn that into a fraction you get (1/20). So thats 1/20th of his money he spent on each candy bar.
