to calculate L = 5.5826 ft then W = L-2 = 3.5826 ft

Let's Length be x and width be x-2

So

  • Area=20
  • x(x-2)=20
  • x²-2x=20
  • x²-2x-20=0

On solving

  • x=5.6ft

L=5.6

W=5.6-2=3.6ft
