Please help! I need this as soon as possible!

The drawing of a movie screen is 21 inches long and 9 inches tall. The actual screen is 30 feet tall.


a) What is the scale of the drawing?



b) Find the perimeter of the movie screen in the scale drawing.



c) Using your scale, find the perimeter of the movie screen in actual life. Show the proportion you can use to solve.

Answer:

for A 21,9,21 and 9

for b is 30 inches

for c is the pictures

Answer:

A: The scale is 40. (not sure how you word it, the drawing is 40 times smaller)

B: 60 inches.

C: 200 ft.

Explanation:

A: if the hight is 9 inches in the drawing, and 30 ft in real life, you can change the ft in to inches. ( 30 x 12) and divide that by 9 to find how much different the size is from the drawing to real life. This will give you the equation 360 divided by 9. Thus the answer is 40.

B: Just solving perimeter. L + L + W + W. In this case, (21 + 21 + 9 + 9 = 60)

C: As determined previously, the drawing is 40 times smaller than the real screen so the drawing times 40 will give the real thing in inches. To make this simpler you can change the 60 inches to 5 feet. The equation would be (5 x 40) The answer being 200.
