This is a division problem. We need to divide the pounds in a bag by the weight of 1 brick in order to find the number of bricks in a bag.

3 1/3 / 5/6

---Make the mixed number an improper fraction

10/3 / 5/6

---Multiply the first fraction (10/3) by the reciprocal of the second fraction (5/6). The reciprocal is essentially the opposite and is found by "flipping" the fraction.

10/3 x 6/5

60 / 15

4

Answer: 4 bricks are in the bag

Hope this helps!
