Explanation:

In order to solve this equation you first need to change your equasion to fit 2 scenarios. So, your 2 equations are x-72.5=4 and x-72.5=-4. From there, you need to solve by adding 72.5 to each equation giving you x=76.5 and x=68.5. 68.5 degrees F is your minimum temperature and 76.5 degrees F is your maximum temperature.
