Answer:

The stores at no point in time will charge same rate ( their rates will always be different)

Explanation:

To get the value of x that they charge same rate, we simply equate the value of rate in both;

thus;

8x-5 = 2(4x + 6)

8x-5 = 8x + 12

From what we have here, we can conclude that the equation has no solution
