both measurements are given here

so

2(3 3/4) + 2(7 5/6)

you will want to first put the fractions into improper fractions

3 3/4 = 15/4

7 5/6 = 47/6

then you multiply

15/4 * 2 = 15/2

47/6 * 2 = 47/3

now you add them

you must find the LCM or the least common multiple to add them together

2 and 3s least common multiple is 6

so

45/6 + 94/6

that equals

139/6

which can be simplified to

23 1/6
