It absorbs the heat and make the surrounding cool
Melting ice cubes , Evaporation
Its general form is Reactant + heat ---) Product
It is the type of reaction in which heat energy is releases
It releases the heat and make the surrounding warm
for ex - Respiration , Digestion
Its general form is Reactant ---) Product + heat

All decomposition reaction are endothermic reaction as decomposition reaction needs energy in the form of heat , light or electricity to break down its reactants.
