In the diagram below, point P is the centroid of △ABC. If PM= 2x+5 and BP= 7x+4, what is the length of PM?​

Answer: (1) 9

In order to the the answer, since PM is half of BP you can do (2)2x+5=7x+4 and once you solve this you would get that x=2, then just plug it for 2(4)+5=9
