a. a compound sentence because there are two independent clauses that can stand alone but are joined by the conjunction “and”
b. a complex sentence because there is one independent and one dependent clause that is started by the conjunction “although”
c. a simple sentence. there is a lot of description but there is no conjunction and the sentence cannot be separated into several sentences.
d. a complex sentence because there is one independent and one dependent clause that starts with the conjunction “since”
e. a compound sentence as two independent clauses are joined by the conjunctive adverb “however”
f. a compound sentence since there are two independent clauses joined by the conjunction “and”
g. a compound sentence since there are two independent clauses joined by the conjunction “but”
h. this is a simple sentence because there is only one subject and no conjunction.
