x=9/4
Step-by-step explanation:
Substitute t(x) into the first equation
t(x)=2x-4
1/2=2x-4
Add 4 to both sides
1/2+4=2x-4+4
9/2=2x
Divide both sides by 2
(9/2)/2=2x/2
9/4=x
