Draw a diagram with rectangle where 10" is the diagonal, 6" is the bottom of the screen, then you have a right triangle with hypotenuse of 10 and one side = 6.

Use Pythagorean theorm to find unknown side x;

x2 + 62 = 102 Solving for x, you get X = 8 inches
