At a hardware store they can cut a rope off of a big roll so you can buy any length you like. the cost of 6 feet of rope is 7.50 how much would you pay for 50 feet of rope.

first you'd need to divide 7.50 by 6 which will get you (7.50÷6=1.25) then you would need to multiply 1.25 by 50 which will get you $62.50 (1.25×50=62.5).
