Explanation:

This is a simpler and easier way to answer this question. Refer to the picture.

Put the numbers (two or more numbers) side-by-side, then find a common factor. Put the factor on the right (2 in this case) and divide both numbers by the factor, then put the quotients below their respective dividends. Keep going until there are no more common factors. Then, for the HCF, use only the number on the left (i.e. 2, 2, and 5). Multiply them to get the HCF. 2*2*5=20

For the LCM, multiply the numbers on the left and the bottom, i.e. 2*2*5*5*3 = 300
