First, we divide inside the parentheses because we always do what is inside the parentheses first, and division comes before addition. So 12/4 is 3. Next we add 3 plus 1, which is 4. Then we multiply (Because multiplication comes before subtraction, and parentheses mean multiplication) 4 times 1 which is 4. Then we subtract 15-4 which comes out to 11.

Hence the answer here is 11.
