The Industrial Revolution brought about sweeping changes in economic and social organization. These changes included a wider distribution of wealth and increased international trade. Managerial hierarchies were also developed to oversee the division of labor. The Industrial Revolution started in England and saw an increase in machinery development which sparked changes all around the world. The invention and use of steam power became huge in the Industrial Revolution, the creation of the Steam Engine did a lot to push manufacturing forward. Unfortunately, in terms of society, the changes were difficult for many people. Skilled workers started being replaced by machinery that could produce the same results. Unskilled workers were even easier to replace and jobs were harder to get since more were mechanized. Wages were low and working conditions were worse and more dangerous, which made society feel more desolate.
