A) 1
Slope = m
Equation for slope: m = (y2 - y1)/ (x2 - x1)
(3, -2) and (-4, -9)
x1, y1 x2, y2
m = (-9 - (-2)) / (-4 - 3)
= (-7) / (-7)
m = 1
Remember: two negatives make a positive
