If they ask you for example 30% of 250 dollar/euro, it is 250/100 * 30, which equals 75.

If they say there are sales that go up to 30%, all you do is as follows;

1) You calculate how much money 30% is. [Look above]

2) You distract the 30% FROM the original price.

Example; A shirt costs 300 dollar/euro, but there's a sale of 30% on it.

30% of 300 = 100

300-100 = 200

The shirt costs 200 dollar/euro.
