\Large\sf\underline\blue{Question\:given:}

A pendulum oscillates 40 times in 4 seconds. Find it's time period and frequency.

\Large\sf\underline\pink{To~ find:-}

  • The time period
  • Its Frequency

\Large\sf\underline\red{Solution ~1}

Frequency of oscillation is defined as the number of oscillation of a vibrating body per second.It is given by

\sf{Frequency=} \\ (Number ~of~ oscillation)/(Time)

=(40)/(4)

\sf{=10 Hz}

\Large\sf\underline\green{Solution ~2}

The time period

The time required to complete one oscillation is known as Time period.

It is given by the inverse of the frequency.

\sf{Time~Period=} \\ (1)/(Frequency ~of~ oscillation)

{=}(1)/(10)

\sf{=0.1 s}

________________

Therefore the frequency is
\sf{=10 Hz}

And the time period is
\sf{=0.1 s}
