then you do the same thing to the other side so you have -2x-2

so your problem should look like this

9x+18=5-2x+2

Next you will add 5 to 2 making it 7

next subtract 18 from 7 which leaves 11

9x=-2x-11

now add 2x to both sides

then you should end up will 11x=-11

simplify and you get -1
