Pls help me out, I need to know what value of x makes this equation true

equation: 6(2x – 11) + 15 = 3x + 12

I have already found the answer to this equation (x = 7) but I need to know what value of x makes the equation true.

(If it's 7, my brain just needs a break from stuff, I've been up since 4 in the morning)

6(2x-11)+15=3x+12
12x-11+15=3x+12
9x=9

X=1

The answer is that x is equal to 1

Answer:

x = 7

Explanation:

12x - 66 + 15 = 3x +12

12x - 51 = 3x + 12

9x = 63

x = 7
