Do the opposites
Divide the number by 5/2 and subtract 2/3
-7/12 divide by 5/2
-7/12 times 2/5 = -14/60
-7/30 - 2/3
-7/30 - 20/30 = -27/30 = -9/10
I believe -9/10
Re-check, I might be wrong

Answer:

-94/195

Explanation:

Let the number be x.

x(5/2) + 2/3 = -7/13

x(5/2) = -7/13 - 2/3

x(5/2) = -21 - 26/39

x(5/2) = -47/39

x = (-47/39)/(5/2)

x = -94/195
