PLEASE HELP!!!

How do you think a culture full of traditional, gender-specific roles has been able to elect (in most cases) so many female presidents while our country, which boasts its modernism and feminism, has still been unable to elect a female president?

women here, while they do have rights and such, are still seen as less competent, you can see this in how they get paid compared to how men get paid, usually they get paid less for the same work a man does in which they get paid more.
