Answer: 89

Explanation:

SInce there is 1242 paperweights and we know that each box will hold 14 we can divide them to find how many boxes will be needed.

(1242)/(14) = 88(10)/(14)

Since you can't have
(10)/(14) of a box we will need to add one more to the 88

88+1=89

Answer:

89 boxes

Explanation:

All we need to do is divide 1242 by 14 to find out how many boxes we will need:

1242/14=88.71

Since we can't have .71 of a box and if we have 88 boxes it would be too little, we need 89 boxes to hold all the paperweights.
