64 {x}^(4) y - 36 {x}^(2) y \\

Now take 4x^2y as common

= 4 {x}^(2) y(16 {x}^(2) - 9)

Now factorise the bracket portion using a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b) formula

= 4 {x}^(2) y( {(4x)}^(2) - {(3)}^(2) ) \\ = 4 {x}^(2) y(4x + 3)(4x - 3)

Answer:

{4x}^(2) y(4x + 3)(4x - 3)

Hope you could understand.
