How do you change a rational number to a decimal? give an example

Answer:

If the rational number is a fraction (of course) divide it. For example, 1/2 can be divided as 1 divided by 2 which is 0.5.

If the number is an integer, you can simply just add .0 (point zero). For example, if the rational number is 12, the decimal version would be 12.0.

If the number is a fraction, you can divide the numerator by the denominator. For example, if the rational number is 1/10 (one tenth), just can divide one by zero to get 0.1 (zero point one).
