when you divide by a negative, the sign changes

so y > -4+x or y > x -4

first you graph this as a normal line (y=x-4)

here are some points to plot

(-2,-6)

(0,-4)

(2,-2)

connect those dots

because this equation is an inequality it is saying that the solutions for y are greater than x-4 so you have to shade the region above the line you made
