she has $7.85 in quarters and dimes

quarters = 25c

dimes = 10c

she has 12 more

so, we know she has AT LEAST 12 quarters

25 x 12 = 300 = $3.00

but we also know its not possible for her to have more dimes quarters

( im not rlly sure what to do, bc you havent given me multiple choices, but i hope this helps )
