If your solving for (x) then x=3/8(y-6)
If your solving for (y) then y=3/8x +6

Answer:

Let's solve for x.

y−6= 3 /8x

Step 1: Multiply both sides by 8x.

8xy−48x=3

Step 2: Factor out variable x.

x(8y−48)=3

Step 3: Divide both sides by 8y-48.

x(8y−48)

8y−48 = 3 /8y−48

x= 3 /8y−48

Answer:

x= 3 /8y − 48
