Drop Cloth:

A = L x W

A = 8 x 16

A = 48

Room:

A = L x W

A = 14 x 16

A = 224

2 - Divide the area of the room by the area of 1 drop cloth

This is to see how many times the area of the drop cloth will go into the area of the room

Room Area/Drop Cloth Area =

224/48 = 4.66666666... = 5 drop cloths
