Why couldn't you use synthetic division for the following problern? Make sure to explain fully.

$(4x^(3) + 3x {}^(2) + x - 11) / (x ^(2) + 1)$

Because x²+1 has an imaginary solution so you can’t find a value to put on the side for synthetic division
