write the slope intercept form of the line that passes through the two points given (-1,-8) (2,10)

Let the equation of the line be y = mx + c

m = (10 - (-8))/(2 - (-1)) = 6

sub (2, 10):

10 = 6(2) + c

c = -2

therefore, the equation of the line is y = 6x - 2
