1. Molly and James often argue. We learned that stress in a parent's life can result in abusive behaviours. How might parental arguing be considered a form of child abuse? What kind of abuse is this? How might this affect a child in the future? Please I need help

Well, for starters if the parents start hitting the child because of the lack of peace from stress then that would be considered physical abuse. However, if the parents abuses the child mentally by saying harsh things then that’s mental abuse. So, to answer your question, this would be considered as mental abuse. This will affect the child to be much more afraid in life if they do something wrong and it could also affect the way that they treat their future kids. Then, there would be a pattern on and on and this would never stop unless they seek help.

Answer:

Well, if the parents are always fighting, then they will tend to get aggressive, or they will want to take their anger out on somebody else. Also- it could be considered child abuse because the kids will get used to hearing their parents fight all the time, and think that that's okay. The children will think it's okay to abuse their kids, so they'll do it to them too, and so will their kids, and their kids, and so on... The children will always have that memory of their parents arguing and fighting and abusing, so it may make them depressed even. So basically, bad actions can turn into bad results.
