(5)/(4) teaspoons of baking powder. How much would we need for 3 dozens or 36 muffins?

Set up the ratio in fractions


(10)/((5)/(4)) =
(36)/(x); where x is the teaspoons of baking powder

solve for x

x =(36*
(5)/(4)) / 10

x = (45)/10 = 4
(5)/(10) = 4
(1)/(2) teaspoons of baking powder

1.25/10=x/36
