When a linear equation has the form y=mx+by equals m x plus b, how does changing m or b affect its graph? Let's use a cool feature in an online graphing calculator to investigate. Giving 20 points!

Explanation:

the m is the slope, so that will automatically change the whole line. for instance if the m is 1/5, you will go up one and over five. if you change the m to -7/2 you will go down seven and over 2. does this make sense? also the b is the point on the y line that you start on. if you start on 2 it will make the line look different if you start on -6. let me know if you have more questions!!
