Answer:

6 and 7

Explanation:

Let us call the smaller number x, the consecutive number will be x + 1

1. Find the product in algebra form

Our product will be x(x + 1) = x^2 + x

2. Find the sum

The sum would be x + x + 1 = 2x + 1

3. Make an equation

Since the product is 29 more we can say that:

x^2 + x = 2x + 1 + 29

x^2 + x = 2x + 30

x = -5; x = 6

4. Elimination

Since we have 2 answers for this we have to eliminate

-5 - - > -5 + 1= -4

-5(-4) = 20

-5 + -4 = -9

No

So that only leaves 6 and 7(6 + 1)

Hope this helps!!!
