so the original factors are 2 and 3. if it’s scaled by a factor of 4, you would multiple those to numbers by 4 to get the new rectangle.

answer: 8 by 12 inches

Answer:

1/4

Explanation:

A scale factor of 4 multiplies every side length by 4 to produce the new scaled rectangle. To go back to the original size, you need every side length to be divided by 4. Dividing by 4 is the same as multiplying by 1/4. The scale factor is 1/4.

Answer: 1/4
