For question 1: 4 apples is 1 pound, 12 apples is 3 pounds, 16 apples is 4 pounds, and 20 apples is 5 pounds.

Explanation:
Pounds X: 1,2,3,4,5
Apples Y: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20
What I noticed is that they are skip counting the x by 1's and tha y's by 4.
