Bonus question: If Susan makes$12.50 an hour for working a regular 40 hour week, and she invests one day's pay in a savings account that earns .05% interest, how much money would she have in her saving account after 1 year if she opened her account with $500? *

Hi!

From what I know, the answer is: $5,503.

I got that answer by first multiplying 40 to 12.50, which was 500, then added .05% to 500, which ended up being 500.25. Then multiplied 500.25 with 12 (because there's 12 months in a year.) which was 6,003. I then subtracted 500 (because she opened it with 500) from 6,003 which was, the answer, $5,003.

Hope this helps! Sorry if its wrong, I was seriously racking my brain trying to get you this answer lol.

Answer:

Your answer would be: almost $5, but the actual amount is $4.67.

Reason being: when you divide $140 by 30, you get $4.67, and rounding to the nearest number, you get $5.

Therefore, the answer is $4.67
