George Washington believed that for the United States, we must stay united to keep the US from falling apart. Political Parties was an almost tangible idea of proving what Washington feared, and today's US current events prove it to be true: That the United States would become extremely divided on views, and violence and chaos would ensue.
However, political parties were inevitable, and it can be said that George Washington already knew that. Inside his own cabinet was rife and arguments on the course of action of the US government not only for her homeland as well, but also on foreign relations. The failure of following George Washington's warnings of political parties has brought on the partisan views, the failure to be able to listen to each other to come to a consensus, and a general distrust and condescending tone to the other party.
