since the triangles are similar then the ratios of corresponding sides are in proportion , that is

(RS)/(FG) =
(ST)/(GH) ( substitute values )

(RS)/(21) =
(4)/(12) ( cross- multiply )

12 RS = 84 ( divide both sides by 12 )

RS = 7 cm
