We should learn about Jamestown because of it’s historical impact on America. It was the first successful English settlement. Despite the struggles, Jamestown survived for a good while. Jamestown almost failed because of famine, disease and conflict with local Native American Tribes. Yet, the new group of settlers that came back with supplies helped bring them back up. That’s why I think we should learn about Jamestown.
