Well we know that this is a 90° angle, so 2x and x must equal 90°. Knowing this info we can create an equation to solve for x:

90 = 2x +x
90 = 3x
90/3= 3x/3
30 = x

Now let’s look back at the angles, the first one is just x, so it would be 30° but the second one is 2x so it would be 30° x 2 which would make it 60°
Hope this helps!

Answer:

x = 30

(2x)° = 60°

x = 30°

Explanation:

The two angles combined is a right angle, and a right angle is 90°, so we can put that into this equation:

2x + x = 90 which is the same as 3x = 90 because 2x + x = 3x

3x = 90

divide both sides by 3 so you can get x by itself

3x divided by 3 = x

90 divided by 3 = 30

you get x = 30

since x = 30, 2x is the same as 2 times 30, and that is 60.
