Answer: No, the volume is eight times as large

Explanation:

We will test this. Let the radius equal 4, then we will double it to 8.

4 * 2 = 8

With a radius of 4, the volume is about 268 units³. With a radius of 8, the volume is about 2,145 units³.

2,145 / 268 = 8

The volume is not twice as large, it is eight times as large.

Why is this? In the formula, r is cubed. WIth an example of 2, 2 * 2 * 2 = 8.
