Answer:

False. Earth can not sustain unlimited growth.

Step-by-step explanation:

As with everything, Earth has its limits. This basically means that there is only a certain point to which humanity can go before it ends up with nothing and experiences a rapid downfall. Even nowadays, we can see that lot of problems occur with the current population and economic growth globally, though in all fairness that is to irrational usage of resources more than anything else.

Earth can sustain a much larger population than there is at the moment, but that is only if the natural resources are used as rationally as possible, and the focus to be generally on sustainability, not depletion of resources. Even in such a perfect scenario where humankind uses everything in the best and most rational way possible, there is a limit, as once a certain point is passed in the population size then there would simply be not enough resources to sustain it. If even a fraction of the population can not be sustained it will lead to unrest and violence in order to get the resources needed, and that would most probably mark the end of humanity.
