Answer:

X will get 20 sweets and Y will get 30 sweets.

Explanation:

Substitute for x and y in in the equation.

20(6)(4) - 10(6)(6)

480-360

=120

Mary has 120 sweets.

Then divide 120 by 6 and 4

120/6= 20 sweets and 120/4 =30 sweets
