Read the passage.

Oil stains can be the most stubborn to remove from clothing. It is important to get the stain out, though, as remnants of the grease or oil could actually start a fire when the clothing is put in the dryer. The first thing to do is to put a few drops of dish soap on the stain. Dish soap is made to cut through grease. Next, rub in the soap with your fingers, a clean cloth, or a sponge. Let the soap sit on the stain for at least five minutes. You can then wash it as you normally would, in hot water with detergent. It is best to air-dry the clothing to make sure that the stain did, in fact, come out.

Why does the speaker use sequence in this passage?

to emphasize that grease stains are nearly impossible to remove
to emphasize the danger of putting grease-stained clothes in the dryer
to explain why dish soap is the best treatment for grease stains
to explain the process of removing grease stains from clothing
