so the new slope is 23/7

slope intercept form is y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

so plug in (-3, -3 ) to get -3 = 23(-3)/7 + b

isolate b

solve

-3 = 23*-3/7 + b

-3 = -69/7 + b

add 69/7 to both sides

69/7 - 3 = b

-3 = -21/7

69/7 - 21/7 = 48/7

b = 48/7
