The price of a technology stock was $9.65 yesterday. Today, the price fell to $9.52. Find the percentage decrease. Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a percent.

It fell .13% but rounding the number it will be .1% percent because 3 is less than 5 so it falls to .1% and if it was greater then 5 it will fall to .2% and the 0 in the tenth place is invisible just imagine it as 10
Here’s an example

$4.78 was the dells and now it decreased mean subtract and it dropped to $4.35 if I round to my nearest .00/ tenth it would originally be .45% and since we have 5 and up will round it so .5% and if it was .44% it would be .4%
So the is was a tenth decimal looks like .0
This is what a hundredth decimal looks like .00
And this is what a thousandth decimal looks like .000
For you answer it .1%

(9.52/9.65)×100 = 98.65

your 100% value decreased to 98.65

net percentage decrease: 100-98..65

=1.347 or 1.35 (rounded)
