Explanation:

So the formula is
y^2-y^1= rise\\x^2-x^1= run

All you have to do is the second y-coordinate of the points minus the first y-coordinate. That should be -6 - 3= -9

Then for the run, you do 9 - 5= 4

Therefore, it is -9/4
